As a married couple and being together for more than 20 years, I believe there's something God wants Richard & I learn in our perspective of having a 'family'. There's no perfect life for everyone and we as His followers should learn to accept and embrace, there will be imperfections in ours too. Some people may have lost their parents while they were little, others may have children who are disabled, some may not even have a roof to cover their head, and some beautiful young men/women are seeking their whole life for a companion yet finding none...
So may we learn to be thankful, be grateful, for all the gifts we received, and for the many children God has brought to the different stages of our lives. We had nieces & nephews, Godchildren in KK & U.S., little ones of our dear friends yet sweet enough to call us Godpa/Godma. We have a chance to love, in our past 14 years as a couple, so many beautiful kids that both of us are impossible to have.
I call it a blessing, of another kind. That God still let us experience the joy of being parents in a different way.
