Fall comes to New York

Every season is a beauty and surely fall (autumn) is no underdog compared to spring and winter. It can be the prettiest if you capture the right moment, the right tree within just a short period of a fortnight. Yes indeed, just two weeks. If the weekend weather is bad, it would mean you have to wait another year.

I haven't had a chance to take real good fall foliage shots over the past ten years. Either we were too occupied by work the first few years, or we just simply missed the timing of the color-change. And, I didn't have a good camera then. Richard had one but it wasn't user-friendly (you know, me dumb). So when my sister bought me one as a birthday gift 2 years ago, it was God-sent. Photography is a no-brainer to today's technology, just a matter of few clicks a seemingly professional photo is taken. And you could keep trying with different function that will give you alternative results, take as many shots as you like till you satisfy without a waste of film. To tell you the truth, I find the art of photography more and more interesting. And hope for one day, I'll be able to own a nice collection of fall pictures like Richard and his friends had when he first came to New York.
