October is a big month for photography - When leaves change its color to red, purple, orange and yellow due to chemical process as the seasons change from summer to winter. There's never enough time for me because the span to embrace its beauty is so short.
Being a hard-core foliage fan, I have tried to travel miles in recent years trying to capture snaps of the autumn splendour. The timing though, is important, because from its peak to the falling of leaves, it may only take one week! So it's either too early or too late, once you miss it, it's another year of waiting. Next year I want to venture further and hope to take more awesome photos.
And of course October isn't complete without celebrating Halloween. Halloween was not in my dictionary until adulthood, at that time it was only celebrated in pubs or hotels and in my impression people were just trying to put on a scary outfit and had fun so it didn't really interest me. Not until when I came to U.S. and found this a fun-filled culture, when you see almost all the kids toddlers included dressing up their cute/funny/creative outfit to ask for candies from doors to doors, you will fall in love with Halloween.
