I don't know if KK or West Malaysia has a store of its kind but Build-A-Bear Workshop has been taking the US market by storm for 3 years now. What's special about this store is the opportunity to create your own toy from scratch. You pick a toy (they only have bears in the beginning, but now they have doggie, kittens, dinosaurs...) from a selection of some 50 designs, put a 'heart' in it, bring it to the big machine to stuff it with cotton, then the staff will stitch it, and you can dress it, buy shoes and accessories for it... To make it more personal, you get to name your own toy and a 'birth certificate' will be given to it.
Amazed? I am.

Have never heard of this kind of shop in KK yet, don't know about KL. Like usual this will take on Malaysia's shore soon, we are always few steps behind.
